As a new patient to Discover Chiropractic, a typical experience would usually involve making an appointment, and then to provide a simple medical history to give the doctors some background information. This can be done ahead of time by downloading and completing our new patient form, or in our waiting room on your intial arrival.

Every muscle, joint and organ relies on nerves from the brain to control their function.
Chiropractic is based on the scientific fact that your body is a self-regulating, self-healing organism. These important functions are controlled by the brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves of the body. The skull protects the delicate tissues of the brain. Your spinal column is made of 25 vertebrae and their discs, plus their supporting ligaments and tendons.
To perform at your peak, your brain must both send and receive signals to and from your body via these exiting spinal nerves. If the nervous system is impaired, it can cause malfunction of the tissue and organs throughout the body. Often this can cause a host of symptoms.
For Example: If a person is subluxated in the upper back region, an individual may experience the condition known as asthma - because the nerves in this region go to the small air tubes in our lungs called bronchioles.If a person is subluxated in the lower back region, an individual may experience the condition known as constipation - because the nerves in this region supply the bowel.

The adjustment is the correction of the subluxation. It is a light force applied via the use of your hands. It's very quick thrust to adjust the bone in a specific direction to get pressure off the nerve. After a complete evaluation your chiropractor will have a thorough understanding of your problem.

Joe Bonanno is one of the most professional practitioners I have ever met. He was very patient and thorough with me when explaining my x-ray and what to expect from adjustments. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a chiropractor who cares about his patients - he has saved me from agonising back pain.

These guys will lure you in and then tell you you need to come there every week for god knows how long. The receptionist was pushy to make you come every week and you feel guilty for not coming.
The waiting room had me waiting there for an hour. They overbook. My back was fine but sitting on those uncomfortable chairs for an hour required me to have an adjustment - just for sitting on those chairs.
The only good thing that came out of it was that he told me he couldn't fix my scoliosis as it was part of my 'permanent structure' which was good because other joints were telling that it could be

The receptionist was friendly and kind, Dr Joe was very nice, easy to talk too and did great job at treatment however at my first appointment I was told there would be a small wait. After that I received updates of what seemed like every 20mins stating “he won’t be much longer”, the end wait time was over an hour and half wait. Upon arrival to my second appointment,1 week later, I asked the receptionist if there was a wait today, mentioning my previous experience which left a bad taste in my mouth. The receptionist let me know there maybe 30mins wait although she did not look confident AT

After 10years of back pain I was reluctant to visit another specialist my sister Faye put me on to Joe at discover made my first appointment and canceled never have i received an email from another specialist after cancelling asking me to give it a go thank you Joe. I can honestly say it is amazing i feel it’s working just the beginning but will definitely keep it up and I highly recommend to anyone else who is suffering and the staff are also very friendly keep up the great work guys

My family have been to Discover Chiropractic for the last 6 months. Have seen Dr Daniel Bozzo on almost all occasions and he is very efficient and helpful. He has always helped and explained what he is doing. all 3 chiropractors here are professional and very good at what they do.. reception staff are friendly and pleasant though sometimes there could be a little wait as they are quite busy and know there stuff. We are pleased with them.

Probably the best treatment I have ever had. Dr Daniel explains the condition of your skeletal health in terms you could understand. Provides a comforting service and definitely makes you feel certain with his practice. Put your trust in these guys for they explain every step in the way. Good price too. Highly recommend.

Excellent treatment and superb diagnosis. Was recommended by a friend of mine, who avoided a spinal surgery after having a successful treatment here.

I have been seeing Joe for over a year now and he has been amazing. I had broken my hand and had bursitis on my shoulder and since coming to him it has improved dramatically. The staff are amazing it truly is a family friendly environment always greeted with a smile and where good customer service is so rare these days they are at the forefront. Living in the west have known Discover Chiropractic were in Sunshine, drive past regularly. Never thought I would require their services but in recent years I made the decision to contact Joe and great team ( advised by work colleague and my dad to go try services ). I have had a lower back issue from late teens (work injury started it) which reoccurs on odd occasions to cause pain discomfort, making life unbearable ( pity I never went there earlier to get better ).
