Amy Mellicent is a Brisbane photographer and the face behind Fleurette Photography. Based in the Logan Shire, Amy brings her beautiful and timeless style of photography to families across the Brisbane and Gold Coast areas. Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP ). My style can be described as natural and timeless, photographs that won't date and will be loved forever. I want you to be able to look back on your photographs in years to come, and still love them! As a mother myself I know exactly where you are standing in this journey we call motherhood.
Your newborn baby will only be this tiny once in their life, and only for a matter of weeks. These short moments are priceless and irreplaceable, and for that reason, I want to ensure my photographs will bring you joy each and every time you look at them. Newborn sessions are best scheduled when baby is between 7 and 14 days of age as this is when newborns are at their sleepiest.
Typically held between 32 and 36 weeks, a maternity session is a wonderful way to celebrate your pregnancy and prepare for the arrival of this new little person. Depending on the vision you prefer, maternity sessions can be held in my studio or at an outdoor location. Partners and children are welcome to take part in maternity sessions, or we can just make it all about you.
I have been photographing families for over 15 years so you can rest easy knowing that I come with a lot of professional experience, technical knowledge and the calmness to tackle all situations. I take great pride in helping you feel relaxed and love providing you with beautiful photographs, an exceptional experience and the quality you deserve.

I will Never forget our Amazing newborn photos of our daughter by Amy! Such a special time to capture and so glad we chose Amy for this. We came across Fleurette Photography by chance when searching for a newborn photographer and we’re so glad we did! We absolutely love our images and Amy was nothing but professional, warm and gentle with our little girl during her shoot. We were especially impressed with her patience and skill in getting her to sleep (and stay sleep). Highly highly recommend this company and we will certainly be contacting Amy again in future!

Gentle, caring and soothing best describes Amy and the wonderful work she has done with our with our newborn and family photos. She was amazing during our family photo session earlier this year and has an excellent eye for picking beautiful locations. She made the kids feel relaxed and we all had so much fun. We can't wait for our next session!
