My experience with Smile Sydney was more shocking than anything else.
My first visit was very pleasant, the dentist was professional, as was the assistant and the receptionist. All very friendly. I had a desensitising gel applied to a tooth that has worn enamel. I've had this gel applied approx 8 times previously, most of these times I've applied it myself and have never had an issue.
When I got home that night and brushed my teeth, I experienced just as much sensitivity as I had prior to my appointment. I thought to myself "no worries, I'll call in the morning and arrange to get back in" thinking

I am writing this review on behalf of my grandaughter, Eva Campbell, aged 11 years. Before her consultation with Dr. Alex McEwan, Eva was a little nervous. Dr. McEwan put her at ease and his treatment of Eva was a texbook case of what to do with a young child. He was so thorough and so very patient, carefully explaining every step of the procedure. Result- a young patient happy and relieved and cured of apprehension about visiting the dentist. Dr. McEwan gave detailed advice to Eva about her oral hygiene. He also gave a thoughtful diagnosis of her overcrowding teeth. Eva highly recommends Dr. McEwan

The reasons I return without fail to Alex?
Attention and presence. Early on I noticed something very unusual about Alex – at a time when he was dealing with his own paperwork and billing he displayed remarkable attention to exactly how he did so. He would place a piece of paper just so on the desk, regard it, turn to his next task, deal with that in turn while listening to a question or comment from me, deal with me in turn and complete the entire sequence of tasks without a wasted motion or moment of inattention. By my reckoning, that level of focus in a task which really did not require it
