Tony first registered AJ Blunt Painting in July of 1982 when he was just in his 4th year off his apprenticeship. He had a strong vision to build a company based on quality results which over the years turned into a reputable business managing over 20 staff. He decided to hang up the paint brushes in 2014 and transition the business over to his two sons.
It was always Tyrons vision to join the family business after seeing his dad create something pretty special. There was no free passes though, Tyron worked hard to complete his apprenticeship after finishing high school at the end of 2005. 15 years later, Tyron is now the Managing Director who is the first contact for our clients and has throughly enjoyed the process of transitioning the business and help it's continued strong reputation.

So, you have made the decision to paint your house but have no idea what the cost will be? It is tricky to give a set price as it really does depend on so many aspects such as preparation, age and condition of the site and of course labour and materials. For example a newly built house will most likely take much less preparation then a 1970's home and therefore we always like to visit site to give you an accurate price and time line.

Zac, Joel and the team at AJ Blunt Painters really went above and beyond when we got them to paint our house at rediculously short notice and with rediculously tight timeframes. From the moment Zac walked through the door to quote, to the last time we farewelled Joel the experience of having AJ Blunt paint our house was exceptional.
We asked for a complex four part quote, which allowed us to balance budget against our wishlist, and got the quote before the end of the day. We were impressed by the price, but the next hurdle was fitting us in - as we only had a couple of weeks until we moved in

The AJ Blunt team painted the exterior of our house (mainly, just a couple of internal walls) ... wow, what a job ... just painting all the render was massive, but then the rain set in! Nevertheless, they were unfazed doing what they could undercover.
The painting was well done, the mess cleaned up and the property left tidy every night, the painters acted professionally and communication was good. All in all a good experience and a job well done.

I engaged AJ Blunt after reading positive reviews of them on Google. I have to say my expectations were exceeded on all counts. From the initial review and advice to the detail of the quote (including the quality of preparation, works and Dulux paint) I felt comfortable to put my deposit down.
Dealing with Zac and his supervisor Jake was a pleasure throughout - responsive, offering help and advice and going over and above to help and make the place look like a dream home. The whole team of painters were amazing and even where I did spot the tiniest flaw I wanted rectified, this was done next day

My Wife and l recently had AJ Blunt Painters Contractors paint the interior and exterior of our home. Tyron came out and gave us a quote and explained what what was to be done and the time it would take. They took great care in moving all the furniture and furnishings to paint the interior, and when finished moved it all back. The Painters were professional and courteous and we had no issues whatsoever. Great care was also given when painting the exterior. My wife and I were extremely pleased with AJ Blunt Painting Contractors and highly recommend them for your next painting project..
