Lifestyle, diet and genetics can predispose us to periodontal disease. Some signsand symptoms of gum disease include gum bleeding, painful or swollengums, bad breath or loose teeth. Prevention is better than cure whenmaintaining healthy gums. Brushing twice a day, regular flossing and6-monthly visits to the dentist are the key to preventing or treatinggum disease.
These are highly aesthetic fillings made of tooth-coloured materials, usually composite resins. The fillings are bonded to your teeth to improve your smile and well being, by changing the colour and look of a tooth, building up of lost tooth structure & closing up unsightly spaces between teeth. These white fillings can also be placed instead of amalgam fillings, which detract from an otherwise beautiful smile.
