Hille's Home Extensions
The story of Hille's Home Extensions started in the early 1960's when Ray Hille started his building career as an apprentice carpenter in the Essendon area in Melbourne. Ray became a skilled craftsman and quickly learned that his clients appreciated a complete approach to the work being undertaken on their homes.

Rather than simply adding a room, clients wanted to improve the functionality, flow and appearance of their home. With an holistic approach as a foundation of the business, Hille's Home Extensions was born. Pioneering this concept, Ray went on to change the way extension and renovation works were undertaken in his community.

Hilles is a company which has failed our expectations on every level. We have now experienced serious water damage in a bathroom after the 10 year warranty period has expired despite the likelihood the damage is due to failures on their part at the time of our build. Hilles will not review nor consider rectification. Be careful of this company. They promise the world and fail to deliver.

Would not recommend. Spent a lot of money with this company. Awful company to deal with. Every payment from us was on time, yet threatened legal action for final payment when job had not been finished.

Had heaps of problems with Hille's during and after a renovation. They put in illegal stormwater on both sides of my house - one of these issues I have recently been in contact with the company and despite being told someone will ring me about it (they essentially put stormwater pipes on a few freestanding bricks located on my neighbour's property… and the pipes have since fallen off) after a month no-one has contacted me. How does Hille's deal with problems?? I was told (when I originally complained about problems with the renovation such as damage to property, being charged for a double

We renovated our home 3 years ago with Hille’s and are still overjoyed with the result.
You turned our house into the home that we longed for and we will enjoy for a long time.
Every little issue was dealt with promptly and quickly.
Thanks you Hille’s

We have built with Hille's twice and highly recommend their work. Building is stressful, but their approach makes it so much easier.

We recently had our much-loved double-fronted weatherboard home of the last 25+ years renovated by Hille's. This was a project long in the planning and it was with much trepidation that we finally allowed someone to take to our cherished home with a wrecking bar.
After a few false starts with designs through other companies, Jim from Hillie's arrived and, during an amazingly quick conversation, solved all the design concerns that we had accumulated and that were blocking our first steps. His practical suggestions and sure and experienced manner gave us the confidence to launch into our two-story

Hille’s have been able to make our dreams for our forever home come true.
We felt supported from the very first meeting we had regarding our plans to extend, during the process of the build and until the final handover.
Hille’s are a fantastic building company and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering an extension on their home.

I really enjoyed working with Hilles Home extensions. They listened to our ideas and stepped us through the design process. Once we were happy with the design Hilles handled the council and building approvals step. Once construction started it continued smoothly finishing on time and on budget with no surprises. We lived on site throughout the build and Hilles made sure the site was kept clean and tidy. I would recommend them.

Thanks Hilles we are ecstatic with the house. The service we have experienced has been amazing. Any issues raised have been really quickly dealt with by Stef in the office and onsite by Kieran and left us with a great sense of confidence in our builder and their process. The level of finish is a credit to your trades and Kieran’s management… onsite.
We have been strongly recommending Hilles to others and will continue to do so. Some feedback from our kitchen supplier (Cantilever interiors). The have been really impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the site and dealing with

Based on my friend's experience with these clowns, there is no way I will be considering this organisation for any home extension work.
They originally entered into a builder's agreement in March 2016 and were assured that construction would be completed by Xmas 2016. However, Hille's total unprofessionalism and unreliability led nowhere, despite verbal advice informing my friend that construction would begin in May... then June...then July.
When September arrived, my friend had had more than enough of empty promises and terrible customer service, and cancelled the job.
Only then did the Director
