Same Love Photography & Video
It's 2021 and we have had so much fun working alongside over 100 gorgeous same love couples over the last few years. Starting back in 2012, we have accomplished a lot of proud moments in our fight for equality and visibility. Nevertheless, we continue to strive in uniting the world's humanity and humility through photography and working with charitable organisations so that every one is treated with the rightful respect we all deserve.

We understand that documenting a same love wedding involves more than turning up on the day with camera gear - it's about discovering the nature of the two people and their relationship and, in turn, finding a way to capture their love, unity and memorable moments that are a reflection of them. The key is finding out what truly makes two people a partnership - it's the same key ingredient no matter the couple.
Services
We are excited to introduce Same Love Photography, a business that celebrates the LGBTQI+ community through the reportage of gay and lesbian wedding and commitment ceremonies, singles looking for love, couples and family portraits, queer festivals and events such as Mardi Gras and Fair Day.

We are a collective of photographers who believe the world is a much better place when we all see love as a universal human emotion that doesn't and shouldn't discriminate. The team at Same Love Photography are professionally university qualified photographers and tutors. We share similar interests, with the most prominent being travel and tech.
We cater for a range of photographic and videography services ranging from same sex wedding ceremonies, couples and lgbtiq family portraits, event photography and for small business. We absolutely adore photographing the union between gay and lesbian couples.

We can stand proudly behind this statement as even before Marriage Equality, although considered civil ceremonies, we captured many same sex weddings in various states of Australia, in New Zealand and Vietnam since 2012.We acknowledge and believe that a same sex wedding is not just a celebration of two people in love.
This is essentially a summary - ranging from same sex weddings, corporate events, Mardi Gras celebrations, media articles along with couple and family portraits. Like most Aussies, we love travel and exploring different cultures, so you will find image galleries of events taken place at familiar sites, but also a handful of international locations including Vietnam, New Zealand and Montreal, Canada.
Weddings are more than just a celebration of love. They provide us all with memories of milestones and remind us of the growth we have experienced personally or our friends and family have experienced as life takes us on this unpredictable journey. We meet a lot of couples, some who are very private and others who are happy for us to share their lovely memories with you.
We love capturing the love between LGBTIQ couples and families but it doesn't stop there. We also work closely with pink/gay-friendly businesses in developing imagery and video content. If you are planning your wedding and would like to arrange a catch up at our Balmain studio, we would love to hear from you and what you have planned, so feel free to fill out the questionnaire below.
