Myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy that is commonly used to treat the restriction of motion and pains associated with physical dysfunction.
Myofascial release can be achieved by relaxing contracted muscles, increasing circulation and stimulating the stretch reflex of the overlying fascia (the soft tissue element of the connective tissue that gives protection and support for most of the structures inside the human body) and muscles. The fascia can become tight as a result of trauma, overuse, psychogenic disease and infectious agents.

As the name suggests, manual deep tissue mobilisation is a physical therapy technique that is used to release tightness in muscles, fascia, ligaments and other soft tissue. Manual deep tissue mobilisation is essentially soft tissue mobilisation applied with more force or at a greater depth in order to release the parts of your body that are severely restricted.
Dry needling is a remedial therapy practice that engages your muscles, tendons and soft tissues in order to induce the healing process in affected areas. Dry needling has found to be one of the best tools for sports injuries, muscle and skeletal injuries and for tendon injuries at any age.
Dry needling specifically works for muscle injuries, soft tissue injuries and tendon injuries by inserting needles into the problem area and sending signals to the brain. In doing so the process of healing is sped up and can offer permanent pain relief to the problem areas as opposed to the short-term release that pain medication can offer.

Myofascial Cupping is a form of trigger point therapy and myofascial release. It incorporates various stretching and massage techniques with the application of slightly suction cups. Myofascial cupping seeks to lift and separate the soft tissue, stimulating greater nutrient supply and fluid movement throughout the soft tissues.

Jason's practise was a true find. My 16yr old daughter needed urgent treatment for sporting muscular problems and we lucked into Suncoast Myotherapy, with the brilliant location so close to the Sports Stadium. Jason met, assessed and treated my daughter within an hour, and had her back out on the field, running stronger than ever. Jason was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. We were very lucky that we found Jason and I can not recommend his practise highly enough. Thanks Jas, we are very grateful to you.

Jason has changed my life, I was told I needed new knees. I had nerve pain in my right leg that ran down to my heel. I was in a really bad place with pain. You Jason have given me what no specialist, pain management, physio, doctor could, which is my life back drug free. Dr Steven Laurie a wonderful specialist said my doctor needed to dig deeper to find the reason for my pain. You did it in one consultation and gave me the understanding I needed. It has been an interesting and educational journey so far. Even though I am still having your treatment which you have me forever as a patient I am forever

I went in to see Jason and he managed to fit me in very promptly for an appointment as I have back injuries causing alot of pain and restricted movement for me. I was finding that massage therapy was not giving me a very good outcome for a long period of time before I started suffering pain again. Jason was fantastic, He pin pointed every problem point and used dry needling to give me back movement and stability. i can now bend, twist and walk without pain.. I also have home exercises to do and will be going back regularly to keep working on my problem areas :)
