Nestled just 400m from the spectacular Glenelg River and only 800m from Simson's Landing, Casuarina Cabins is the perfect place to stay for bush walkers, birdwatchers and fishermen, or come to just sit back, relax and unwind in the quiet and tranquil surroundings. Casuarina Cabins is the ideal getaway retreat, with parking for your boat or trailer right alongside your cabin.
We're ideally situated for walking groups wanting a base camp or a mid-way stop for walkers on the Great South West walk to "recharge the batteries". The only limit is your imagination! Nelson is the ideal holiday spot. Boasting the roaring ocean beach, the calmer estuary beach (where you can spot a swan or pelican), and the truly magnificent Glenelg River, of which the last 50km flows gently through the Lower Glenelg National Park.

We had 5 days at Nelson to see the coast and the Glenelg river. The cabin was clean and comfortable and we loved being able to go for a walk and see all the local flora and fauna. Its a great place to stay if your into boating or even diving at the limestone caves of Picininnie ponds. Thoroughly recommend staying here.
