Temporary and permanent work visas for foreign nationals working for an Australian business in regional or metropolitan areas.
This Prospective Marriage Visa a temporary visa is for people who are outside Australia and are engaged to be married to an Australian permanent resident, citizen or Eligible New Zealand Citizen. The visa is valid for 9 months during which time the applicant is expected to travel to Australia and marry their sponsor.
Partner visas allow the married spouses or de facto partners of Australian citizens, permanent residents or eligible New Zealand citizens to travel to Australia or remain in Australia with their partner. Although only one application is made, an application for a partner visa is an application for both a temporary and a permanent visa.
If you are a parent (or parents) of a child who is a settled Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen, you may be eligible for a permanent Parent visa. All Parent visas must be applied for offshore, unless you hold another visa which allows you to remain in Australia whilst the application is processing.

We dealt with Rose at Queensland Migration Practice for our migration. We applied at time when covid restrictions were in place in Australia, incoming arrivals numbers were being halved and exemptions were being refused without being reviewed. Rose talked us through each step of the process, she kept us fully informed on what we needed to do, walked us through the exemption and offshore partner visa process, was very friendly and more than happy to answer any questions we had.

Rosemary Acutt has been extremely helpful and supportive. She has an amazing skill to clearly and simply explain the visa process. She also promptly replies to any questions you forgot to ask or something that comes up during the process. I've dealt with a few immigration lawyers and she is by far the best! Rose and her team at QMP are undoubtedly the best migration law practice you'll find. From my very first consultation with her, she has been extremely helpful with laying out all my options, setting very realistic expectations and providing me with as much detail as I needed to make my decisions.
