The Billabong Motor Inn has two family rooms which offer a little extra space for families (up to 4 guests) with divided sleeping areas, microwave, and two televisions. These self-contained units include a kitchenette area, crockery, cutlery, microwave and sink. If you're looking for a place to stay that feels like home then the Billabong Motel in Mundubbera is exactly that.

Great relaxing clean motel. Fantastic meals and good service. Close to town. Nothing is a problem. We totally came upon this place after a long days drive. We didn't even know this oasis was out this way. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. So wonderful. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfy, great air cons and tv's etc etc. cant fault anything.

Due to the recent flooding our trip home was thrown into chaos. Roads closed, accomodations all booked out so we back tracked and called to see if there was a spare room. Lucky for us one family room was available. The service from staff has been nothing short of amazing, they are warm friendly and accommodating. The room is one of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in. The food we ordered as an easy option and my goodness were we glad we did!! Steak was cooked to perfection and calamari was delicious, the salad was so fresh, our plates went back empty! It’s a beautiful area and so lovely and quiet

Penny & the staff just lovely. Nothing too much trouble. Dinner @ the restaurant was amazing, local butcher has supplied best cuts to them. Thanks Penny, will be back again

Penny, you really imbue this place with a lot of order and love. Oddly reminds me of Howard Springs quarantine. Steak and a drink cost nearly $50. Steak too dry and chewy. Bit pricey, but at least I'm full.

Penny was Very helpful...
We called up late and she bent over backwards to help.
It's rare that we get exceptional service these days and I'm happy to say that Penny is one of those rare exceptions.

The owners were awesome, very nice and the room was nicely appointed, very clean!! No pool!😱.. My wife and I had a meal, my wife’s was absolutely spot on and she loved it.. My steak was over cooked, smelt a little funny but actually tasted really good!! 😀 I’d certainly stay again!!!

Lovely outlook over a lagoon from the back of our room. Had dinner cooked for us and it was the best homemade chicken snitzel delivered to our door. Lovely room. Quiet with no traffic noise. Very friendly.

Nice clean and surprisingly large room with super cold air con, which was definitely appreciated.
Lovely hot shower, really comfy bed, which I didn't want to get out of in the morning 😏
Really nice food as well as lovely friendly staff. I was lucky enough to get the last room available when I stayed. It was a bit pricey but I didn't feel like camping out for the night after riding several hundreds of kilometres that day.

We had an amazing stay here! The couple who run the motel are so courteous, helpful and friendly. They kept the restaurant open longer when we were late back from work and arranged for us to have breakfast earlier. The rooms were clean, tidy with powerful showers. The food in the restaurant was great, really generous portions and home cooked fare. I will definitely stay here again when I’m back for work in the future! 👍👍👍

Strong hot showers and delicious, very nicely cooked food. Penelope made an effort to remember all of our names as well. Never would have expected such stellar hospitality from a motel, cannot recommend enough.
