Relax in a comfortable lounge chair after a hard day at the office or catch up with friends in the alfresco area, sipping one or two of our more unusual wines or your old favourite tipple. The original hotel was built in the first half of the last century, when the 6 o'clock swirl was in full swing!

Very grand in its time, with an Art Deco feel, it consisted of accommodation, a Ladies Lounge, a bar and a dining room. Over the years the hotel has seen many changes, not least the end of the 6 o'clock shutdown. EDP Hotels have had a brand new tavern built next door to the original Art Deco building, carrying the Art Deco theme through.

Pre-prepared frozen food - schnitzels and seafood. Seemed to take a lot longer time than necessary for food to come.

If you want a decent meal and cheap drinks, with a nice atmosphere on the main strip of whyalla, it's the place to go

This is an hotel that dishes up old fried food which makes you feeling unwell after. They will not give you a double scotch in a large glass but you can have as many single shots as you want. I found the people working there very judgemental and opinionated. Very disappointed in this hotel. Keep driving do not stop.

Visited for a meal which was very nice and well priced. 11pm for a pub meal with hours going further was surprising.
More than recommended for a visit.

The food was good the service was great the pokies where not worth playing $140 and not even one free spin 20 minutes and we where heading home ruend the night

A very nice Hotel on main street, good very inexpensive food, nice gaming room, good selection of beer and wine, most of all very friendly and extremely helpful staff, with good parking at the side and rear, well worth visit.
