We offer to look at your block of land to identify the best orientation and design choices for the location. Or, if you have not secured a block as yet, we can take a look prior to purchase to check for the ideal orientation, and the location of any sewer pipes. Come on over to our place, have some fresh tea or coffee and a slice of home made cake while we chat about your wishlist and designs.

Michelle and Colin had thorough knowledge and confidence in what they were designing for us from day one. Their interpersonal and oral communication is impeccable - always an answer at the end of the line and happy to meet on site. Actively onboarding new design components throughout the entire build stage, Michelle ensured what was envisioned would be delivered at the end. The tradesmen adhere to high working standards, are very approachable, and the communication between all trades is very impressive. Our home is timeless in design and feel!

When we moved to Hervey Bay we decided to purchase a block of land and build our new home. After researching a few local builders and speaking with each of them about our design and our challenging sloping block of land, we chose Essentially Residential - Colin and Michelle Clark to build our forever dream home.

Essentially Residential: Colin and Michelle
Having a house building budget below $300,000 Val and I were initially reluctant to approach such prestigious builders as Colin and Michelle thinking we could not afford them. How wrong we were!
A friend insisted that we at least talk to them and that’s the best thing we did. At the initial meeting we were deeply impressed by Colin’s and Michelle’s obvious enthusiasm, their commitment to quality and their outright professionalism. And things only got better from there!
Today we have a beautiful individual home, architect-designed to our requirements

Colin and Michelle are such a wonderful team and I can’t thank them enough for the fabulous home they built for me in Hervey Bay. Their reputation for quality construction of homes attracted me in the first place, but for me it was the attention to detail and genuine care for me and my plans that impressed me most during the building phase. Colin is always on-site, which means that any issues or potential problems are quickly addressed. And Michelle’s organisation and interior design skills bring an added element to their services that separates them from most builders. I love my home and people
