Because she loves high couture, Sandra has spent years acquiring and applying those secret techniques whispered from generation to generation. In a ready-to-wear world where dresses are manufactured according to standard sizes, she is proud to continue creating couture garments that adapt to any body shape to make it perfect.
After arriving in Australia from South America, Sandra started her atelier in 2011, designing and creating made-to-measure dresses and making delicate alterations in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs. Since then, she has worked along with several established Australian fashion designers.

I cannot recommend Sandra highly enough. I came with a photo and she not only re-created it, but made it even better. I received so many compliments on my dress, and I felt like a princess on my wedding day. Sandra is so friendly, makes you feel at ease and is an absolute professional. Her attention to detail is incredible and nothing was too much. I am so thankful I found her and would 100% use her again.

Sandra altered my wedding dress which was a beaded gown with a scalloped hem. She took the time to unpick the beaded hem in order shorten it so that it was finished beautifully. Not only was she responsive and professional but you can see that she is incredibly skilled at what she does. Sandra is also so friendly and approachable, she made recommendations that made my dress ever better than I could have imagined. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sandra for any of your alteration needs. Thanks Sandra!

Sandra from Seamworks is absolutely brilliant! With decades of experience there is literally no problem she cannot solve. Sandra helped me out with some incredibly last minute alterations for my wedding day with bridesmaids and mum's dress at such a decent price as well. She is so responsive, sincere and just gets the job done to an impeccable standard. She live's near the freeway so if you need anything altered on the East side, she is your best bet!

I highly recommend Sandra! I went to Sandra to make a little top to wear with my sleeveless wedding dress. During this process I got my dress back from the bridal shop after the alterations and I just wasn’t happy with them. Sandra completely altered the train on my dress so it was shorter and sat perfectly. My dress was very detailed Art Deco lace with a scalloped hem so it was a huge job. If only I can give more stars I will, Sandra saved my wedding dress. She's an amazing person and very professional. She also have concern to her clients and is an honest person. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her services again if I need any alteration. My previous dressmaker horribly made the dress and was even blaming me. They said there was nothing wrong with the dress and it looks ugly because I have a different preference. They also told me so many lies and I actually thought there's no hope anymore not until I met Sandra. She assured me she will make the dress look so much

Sandra was amazing...I called her on the morning of my wedding and was able to rectify bad stitching that fell apart done by another dressmaker. Thank you Sandra...You were able to alter my dress in a couple of hours and cost was fair. You made my wedding day special. I would highly recommend Sandra and her work.

She is so lovely & friendly. And it's so refreshing to speak to someone who loves their job!
I had my dress altered by a family member & it was ruined. With 2 weeks before the wedding, I contacted Sandra & she rebuilt half my dress in record time! You can tell when you talk to her, that she knows how to read fabric & mould wedding dresses to your shape. She saw pictures of my ruined dress & knew exactly what happened to it & how to rebuild it!
