Decompression uses new advanced technology in the form of intermittent traction applied to a specific spinal region. The goal, through using a gentle pumping and pulling motion, is to create a small vacuum that pulls a disc bulge back into place. Through this process the pressure on the nerve causing it to be "pinched" is relieved.
The adjustment takes place flexed forward in a chair, making it comfortable for people in acute pain or pregnant women. There are many people suffering with acute injuries which make it very difficult to get on and off of a traditional chiropractic table. The Pro-Chair relieves this discomfort by allowing the patient to relax in a seated forward, fetal style position.

I highly recommend Dr. Travis at Laguna Bay, I had a Sacroiliac Joint injury for a year now, I was going to a different quiropractor in Brisbane and thought, I would just have to live with the pain for ever, but Dr. Travis fix it in the first session!! I couldn't believe it, I'm still on treatment but feeling great!

So pleased to have tried this Chiro, Dr Davis is fantastic and now our local (and recommendation to friends). He differs to most in that he offers a variety of treatment methods so is able to work around any preferences, fears or existing medical conditions. Horizontal neck adjustments set off vertigo for me, but Dr Davis was able to adjust my neck safely, without any symptoms (!!) in 2 different ways. And him and his wife are lovely. What a find, highly recommended.

Over the past 10 years Travis has helped my recovery with, back, ribs, hips, knees, wrists, ankles, feet and last but not least neck and head. I would see him BEFORE I went to a medical doctor because I could trust his advice! What a blessing he is in my life. Integrity, honesty, and a sincere desire to help. Dr. Davis has worked on our whole family. My husband and myself love how knowledgable and experienced Dr. Davis is. My husband and I were in a car accident where both of us sustained neck injuries and instead of going to a medical clinic we decided to seek Dr. Davis's help.
