The refrigerant flows through the indoor unit to absorb the excess heat indoors. It then evaporates and is carried through copper tubes to the outdoor unit as a gas, where the heat is released into the atmosphere. Thus, the gas becomes a liquid again and flows back to the indoor unit, where air is fanned over it and out into the room.
Conventional air conditioners operate their compressors at a fixed speed and therefore deliver a fixed amount of power. As a result the compressor must continually stop and start to maintain the desired room temperature. Our conventional split systems match 2006TESAW which is an award for top energy saving unit.
Inverter driven compressors vary the speed of the compressors, delivering precise cooling or heating power as required. When the inverter air conditioner is switched on, the compressor operates at a high speed in order to cool or heat the room quickly. As the room temperature approaches the set temperature, the compressor slows down, maintaining a constant temperature & energy saving.
Proma has a range of light commercial Ducted Inverter units to cater to the requirements of both the home and office user. Our Ducted systems range from a cooling capacity of 10.5 kW to 18.0 kW in both conventional and inverter. The outdoor unit uses energy efficient DC Inverter technology and has a gold fin anti-corrosion coating on the condenser coils to prolong the heat exchange capacity well past the standard.

This business ripped me off. I bought a portable aircon unit, which arrived with broken wheels and a broken hose connector. After weeks of contacting them they gave me new wheels, but the hose connector was never fixed and (as an altenative) the unit never replaced. It was unusable inside as it would have leaked condensation water everywhere so after months of contacting them and being ignored I threw the unit out. They just stopped returning calls and emails when they could see they needed to fix the issue and go to some effort. Do not use them.
