North Shore Screen printing has over 20 yrs experience in the T-Shirt printing industry, after forming in Sydney we grew fast and became one of the preferred print shops for our wide range of printing techniques. We have since moved to Burleigh Heads on the sunny Gold Coast and continue to supply the highest quality screen printed merchandise as well as digital printing and embroidery.
Screen printing is a traditional artform that - as our name suggests - we specialise in. It is our most commonly used method and is usually the most cost effective way to get your logo or artwork printed. When executed correctly, screen printing produces very high quality and durable prints with great definition, although there are several factors to consider before launching into a run of prints.
Due to the fact that digital transfers are digitally printed, as opposed to screen printed, they are often preferred for photographic quality images, complex logos or artwork that use fine blends or gradients. For very small quantities, transfers can be a more cost effective method of getting your artwork onto the desired item than screen printing.
Vinyl Transfers have a wide range of applications but are especially suitable for sports names and numbers, small run promotional or custom t-shirts, uniforms and merchandise. Embroidery is a stitch based as opposed to a print based method of applying logos or artwork onto clothing. It is especially suited to headwear, merchandise and corporate attire. It is both durable and high quality; however is not suited to artwork that is complex or has fine details or shading, in which case it would need to be simplified.

I have repeatedly tried to email NSSP to organise some sort of point of contact. I was interested in having a few prototype shirts made up and was keen to see what they could offer. Rather than take my business somewhere offshore, I was keen to support a local business. However, they have never responded and it is frankly quite disappointing. I was more than willing to talk and accept that maybe NSSP might not have been a right fit for me (which would have been okay). If you’re a local in the area you’ll know - this just isn’t a trusted business. I’m now hearing about the second experience from a good friend saying Tim took payment on an order, and never delivered. Everyone down to my husband who is an insurance broker in Burleigh Heads knows that this guy is dodgy as - and anyone that has seen the chaos of the inside of his shop will know to steer clear.

I’m still chasing an order from Tim placed a year ago for workplace uniforms. He failed to deliver, or produce any proof of shipping though we’ve paid in advance. He’s promised us a refund and is now ignoring our phone calls with no refund.
When we turned up to his shop to talk to him, the place was locked down though we did speak to his kind neighbour that laughed and said he expected nothing less from him. Please take your printing elsewhere.

Tim at North Shore Screen Printing will take your money, guarantee you an order, forget to do it, then swear that he sent it without being able to provide any proof. Consequently he will apologise and promise a refund, then block your number from contacting him again. This is one business you should avoid for a mile - plenty more amazing printers out there that will bend over backwards for you. Meanwhile, we’re a business $500 out, and a year spent chasing Tim for service or our order.
