Typical photos and images ( JPEG, PNG, TIF, BMP) are made of pixels ( tiny squares of colour) so therefore when the image is enlarged each pixel becomes bigger, and this is what causes what is commonly known as "pixelation".Pantone is a colour palette containing unique and individually numbered colours that were designed to help specify colours for printing projects.
