A scale and clean, also known as a scale and polish or polish and clean, is one of the most routine procedures at the dentist - and if you plan on keeping all your teeth (and avoiding unnecessary dental bills), it's also one of the most important. Essentially, a scale and clean is a professional teeth clean.
One of the least invasive and cost-effective methods to restoring the health of a tooth, when caught reasonably early, is a tooth filling. Before the filling is applied, the decayed tooth material first is removed, and the area cleaned. Whilst this is a fairly straight forward procedure in principal, it does need to be done properly to retain the long-term health of the filled tooth.

The entire experience was straight forward from organizing the appointment to attending. Very clean practice with lots of natural light. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Ahmed who showed a great deal of care and professionalism. He was Very gentle and efficient and listened to my concerns. I Couldn’t recommend This practice enough.

Complete waste of time, I booked an appointment and when came to the day they called me as I was on my way there and told me they'd accidently booked it in to Claremont and I'd have to wait a week for a new appointment. When I showed up to that appointment for an infected tooth "dentist Conner" told me I'd have to come back because they had no dentist available that day. Then I had to wait 20 minutes for them to get a script faxed cause they didn't have one for my antibiotics... After that I went to the chemist to pick up my antibiotics and Women behind the counter said it wasn't a real script
