Two of the six insurers, GIO and NRMA Insurance, offer discounts on other products if you also hold your CTP green slip with them. If you have a No Claim Discount of at least 60% on your Comprehensive Insurance, GIO offers a discount of $50 off your Comprehensive Insurance.

What a compete waste of time, transparency is key, but clearly this is not, but some cheap marketing tactics. Why is it that when your use their online calculating system to determine what is the price for a green for your car, the price that comes up and then directs you the actual company to where you can pay for it, changes dramatically when your dealing with them direct.
In my case, by the time you answer the same questions you do on this website, the price almost doubles. The ones I spoke too all said that won't honor the price given through the green slip website as it's not set in stone

It was good, however I found going to the actual website of Greenslip suppliers better, I got better prices going the websites of various companies but it's good to get an idea plus being able to compare with the various companies some of which you wouldn't think of so very helpful in that manner. Would I use it again of course but then I will go on the official websites of the companies that I'm interested in the ones where I think I will be able to get a good deal.
