Services
Dr Pamela Hellemons (Dr Gilmore's daughter) joined both clinics in 2000 and took over as Principal Chiropractor in 2012. She started out cleaning the clinics on a Saturday at 11 years of age, and then as a chiropractic assistant before going off to Melbourne to study Chiropractic at RMIT to follow in her fathers footsteps.
Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our lovely Chiropractic Assistant, who will acquaint you with our facilities and provide you with some paperwork to fill out. Dr Pamela Hellemons, our friendly Chiropractor will then meet you for an initial consultation of approximately 30 minutes and discuss your health goals, do a thorough history and assess whether Chiropractic care will be right for you.
Chiropractic is a health care discipline based on the scientific premise that the body is a self-regulating, self-healing organism. These important functions are controlled by the brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves of the body.

The practice of chiropractic focuses on the relationship between structure (primarily the spine, and pelvis) and function (as coordinated by the nervous system) and how that relationship affects the preservation and restoration of health. The skull protects the delicate tissues of the brain. The moving bones of the spine protect the intricate communication pathways of the spinal cord and nerve roots.
SOT stands for Sacro Occipital Technique, a chiropractic technique designed to help normalise the relationship between the pelvis and the head. The integrity of the spine, and the function of the nervous system it protects, begins with the pelvis. This foundation is constantly subjected to the pull of gravity.
You can find us just off Manning Road, on the corner of Bungaree Road and Holford Way, close to Curtin University and Carousel Shopping Centre. We are conveniently located near multiple bus stops and close to the Curtin University bus station. The closest train station is Canning Bridge at which point you can catch the 101 bus (12 min) or the 100 bus (18 min) from Stand 3.
