Palazzo

First time to Palazzo. Loved the calamari here years ago when it was called Curly Joe's. They didn't disappoint. The calamari was tender and tasty. The pizza wasn't as good as some of the woodfired pizzas which are now all over Melbourne. Good atmosphere. Service was swift.

Of our party of 4 we all ordered Pizza, 2 people were happy with their pizza's, 2 people were not. Pizza's were lacking in toppings. Staff were friendly, although it took some time for the Pizza's considering it was before 6pm, with very few customers in the restaurant. They apologised for the delay, perhaps they had a large take away order.
Maybe there other meals are better, as other people in our neighbourhood speak highly of this place. Pizza's were reasonably priced for eating in.

I would give a 3 1/2 star
The food was nice and to have the upstairs for larger bookings was great.
But, The guy at the door was very short with us which started the experience off on a bad note, and the staff seemed inexperienced - we were even left waiting for drinks that had to be reordered in the end.
Good knowledge is that they allow an outside cake to be brought in. ;)

My son and I went here (pre most recent lockdown) after having driven by a billion times. The place was quite lovely, the service was great and the food was really nice. I had lasagne and was not disappointed. The bread was also delicious. It doesn't deliver to Yarraville, unfortunately, but am looking forward to another visit when dining at a restaurant is again a thing.

My favourite local restaurant!
It is a homely, welcoming Italian restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. Since moving to the area, I have been there often, either with friends, on dates or to get easy take away. The food is always lovely, the desserts are delicious (I am very picky with desserts- I recommend the chocolate mousse!). The service has always been warm and welcoming. The restaurant has different areas, function space, outdoor, the main restaurant and the bar which create an intimate atmosphere.
A lovely evening is guaranteed.

Wonderful place with wide range of pizza options. Service was decent, pizza took a little bit of time due to peak hours. Traditional pizza is one of the best I had recently. Tandoori chicken pizza gourmet pizza is delicious. Carpaccio of Smoked Salmon is equally good. Would love to visit this place again.
