This remote Aussie pub, in what seems the middle of nowhere, has walls filled with memorabilia. Stop in for a cold beer, enjoy a real outback meal, and have a yarn with a local and hear what it is like living in the Australian Outback. Located at the junction of the Buntine and Buchanan Highways, 291 kilometres south of Katherine, Top Springs Hotel is surrounded by many huge cattle stations.
The Top Springs Hotel is in the heart of cattle country and good for four-wheel-drive adventures on the way to Gregory National Park and the Victoria River District. A must do in this region is the amazing scenic flights of the Victoria River region offered by Coolibah Air, the flight depart from the Victoria River Roadhouse.

Looks caged off from the front. No problems, drive in through the back and see what a blessing this place is in the middle of nowhere.
•Rooms with aircon, sat tv and ensuite.
•Not one but two bars with a variety of cold beers.
•Pub feed! 👌 Speakers, Pool table, flat screen tv with live events.
•clean toilets (inside toilets, stay away from the outside ones)
•Biggest camping ground with power too.
No pool anymore though. Optus service only.
Super remote and the boys there try their best to suit you with what the got.

Best pub in the country, with the best dinner you could want. Adam, the manager, is also the chef, the barman, the shopkeep and the motel overseer. An absolute oasis in a desert of cattle farms. Nothing is too much for Adam, and his quirky humour is welcomed by all. Clients range from tourists staying on site in the half acre campground, through cattle road train operators to helicopter pilots wanting a great feed after a long day of mustering. The owner Milton is on a winner, but just needs to throw a little more money into it (like a new Ute, mower and camp kitchen)

Top place . Pulled in late evening, Adam was very welcoming. I wanted a room and pet friendly which isn't a problem. My dogs slept inside the cabin with the Air condition nice and cold . Even cooked me a meal after the kitchen was closed . Excellent steak sandwich n chips. Room was clean n cosy. Left early and Adam turned the fuel bowsers on for me . Even offered breakfast. Definitely worth the stop if passing through .

Camped here overnight on lovely green grass with some nice shade trees, a real oasis in the bush. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Tony and chef Adam, who made our evening meal delightful. A bit bare and intimidating from the outside with lots of steel bars, but don't be put off, it's really nice out the back. Ablution block was good and free washing.

What a spot to stop and freshen up!
Adam the new chef and manager there was very accommodating with showers and free washing for our clothes. We were 2 couples and were camping with our camper trailers. We all enjoyed a lovely meal which was very reasonably priced, massive portions and steak cooked the way you want it. The showers and toilets were clean and roomy. We could not fault our stay and give this 5/5 stars. It’s a winner in the middle of nowhere.
