Services
We now provide Telehealth services. This can be done as a phone conversation discussing your problem and management or a connection via the internet where there is visual interplay, discussion, exercise prescription and strategizing. Please call 98854571 if you wish to have either until you are able to come to our Practice.
80% of the population will get a back issue. Most of these are minor and will, with Physiotherapy, recover in 1-4 weeks. All of us will have areas of our backs that wear out yet we may only get pain occasionally. This is due to postural issues whether standing or sitting, loss of core strength, losing general flexibility or just from unexpected demands.
Many patients tell us that they get up in the morning feeling stiff and sore yet after 10-20 minutes of showering and moving around, feel ok. By lunchtime, they are ok unless they sit down for a while, in which case, they become stiff again. To feel better, they may go for a walk, swim, stretch, ride a bike, go to the gym etc.
Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ Disorder or TMD) is a term used to describe pain that is originating in the joint of your jaw. Specific physiotherapy assessment and treatment can identify the problems that are causing your jaw pain and then can help ease the pain and reduce/abolish your symptoms.
Physiotherapy includes exercises, education of patients, joint mobilization or manipulation, electrical modalities, localized soft tissue massage and other therapeutic techniques that are specific to the patient's needs. We have Physiotherapists with clinical experience ranging from 37 years through to 15,14,11 and 10.

My 92y.o. mother attended in much osteo shoulder pain expecting accupunture and gentle soothing massage. The female physio massaged with such force when mum flinched she was told not to pull away.
Totally inapropriate treatment and no care attitude. No accupunture offered

I was first contacted by a receptionist Anna, she gave me a very professional, warm welcomed and efficient impression. She acts as a window to represent the whole team. I am feeling confident and trustworthy of this team after being called by Anna for booking and billing arrangements. She inspires me that a good, knowledgeable receptionist is the front line of excellent customer services. A good company imagine usually starts with this person before seeing the actual Physiotherapist. Anna is a fantastic good example.
My treating Physiotherapist Matthew is very experienced, skillful, and efficient

Told me no need to do the ultrasound scan after one session but turned out to be the complete Achilles Tendon Rupture. How hard a Thompson Test could be? Outrageous! Avoid!!!!!!

When my GP first recommended a physio, I told him I didn't want just anyone, I wanted the best there is. Steve Sandor and his team are the best at what they do in terms of expertise, professionalism, and getting you back on your feet. They not only explain the cause of your problem and what can be done about it, they also explain the all important preventative measures. I'm sorry I can only give 5 stars; they deserve many more.

I have been a client of Steve Sandor's for over 30 years and found him to provide great professional service especially during my long and arduous sporting career of yesteryear; Steve's experience as a physio is unsurpassed having been on the medical staff of both the Richmond Football Club and the Victorian Cricket Team; for the record I'm still using his services and so are all my family - I highly recommend him and his colleagues at Restore Movement should you require physiotherapy or any of the ancillary services they offer
