When I was a kid, we all knew that when we walked through the paddock with the long grass we had to stamp our feet to scare the snakes away. There would hardly be a vineyard in Australia or New Zealand which doesn't suffer losses to birds. The traditional shotgun is not up to the job. Netting is extremely expensive to buy, install, store and maintain. Even if you don't want to admit that nets are not 100% effective, small birds like Silvereyes or Wax-eyes will fly through them and flocks of Starlings will weigh down nets to feed on the tops and sides as will Crows.

Since installing the Possum deterrent, the pesky little critters have stopped stripping my apricot tree of foliage and fruit and have abandoned my suburban backyard, for which I am thankful. I will be honest initially I was really disappointed as on night 2 I had 3 possums in the tree, but I reread your instructions which said it might take a couple of weeks to work and it has. Occasional possum, but the tree is in full leaf - only wish I had done this sooner and saved my liquid amber which the possums killed.
I thoroughly recommend your product and have just bought another one.

I bought a Possum Deterrent from Bird Gard, we had three possums coming to our garden nightly, they were marking there territory generally making a mess. The first night of of the Possums came into the yard, they didn't seem to be bothered, but we haven't seen them back since. Great product, and Bird Gard got it to us really quickly and checked to see if we were having any problems.

I recently installed the Possum Deterrent after putting up with the little devils messing all over my deck and a stone paving area below. The success was instant. After following the clear and simple installation instructions and tips, I was pleased to wake up the next day with no mess to clean up. The unit has been installed now for a week and I gone from having to clean up dozens of possum poo pellets every morning to now none. Could not be happier with the product, and also I found Darren from Bird Gard very helpful when I called and also very responsive following up on the delivery given the

I have made a few purchases from Bird Gard over the years, most recently the solar snake repellers. I can't really comment much on how effective they are against snakes as we don't see a lot normally, but here's what I can say:
- Bird Gard are responsive and helpful, 1 unit was damaged when received and they replaced it promptly no issue
- I was worried they would repel lizards, skinks / etc. which we have a lot of in the backyard, so far I haven't noticed any decline which is great... still seeing lots of them in the garden.
- Haven't seen any snakes since installing (few weeks) but again I
