I had to make a claim when I ended up in hospital in Nepal and you guys were amazing. You made making a claim so simple, and made what was a daunting three days in hospital completely worry-free. Will 100% be recommending SCTI and using you for all my future trips. We've used Southern Cross several times and recently had to make our first claim.

We always use Southern Cross Travel insurance when we travel, and this time did actually have to make a claim as our flight to New Zealand was cancelled , and we had to purchase new tickets as the airline would not refund our money.
Southern Cross paid out our claim and we could not be happier with the out come and the service that they offered , would recommend them as an insurer to use for travel.

I bought my insurance online. I wanted the policy so that I would have full cover for rental car excess. I ended up getting the one year cover, as I do a lot of traveling.
It's good as you can expand or reduce the policy as needed.
The annual policy including GST costs $370.25 for a single person. The policy covers up to 60 days travel to Europe, UK, Japan, Malaysia and South Korea and Hong Kong.

I had a Japan trip in May 2020 cancelled due to COVID-19. Although I had already used my annual policy to travel to England, Wales, Scotland, Germany and Malaysia, SCTI refunded half

I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency provided by both the Team at Claims and Customer Services when I submitted my claim.
