We have years of experience in the industry and we are passionate about what we do. We don't advocate just to make money and so we won't encourage you to go to Court, unless all other avenues have been exhausted. Our firm was established by Dixie Ann Middleton in 1992. Our current Principal Emma Turner joined the team in 2006 and worked with Dixie for many years before taking over the reigns as Principal in 2015.
Emma continues to use the skills she learned from Dixie to achieve great results for clients. When people think about a marriage breakdown, they commonly lump all issues under divorce. However, a divorce only relates to the "legal termination" of a marriage. It is an important step, but it does not resolve property or parenting matters.

Services
We believe focusing on too many things at once reduces your ability to give each client the best possible service. That's why we only practice (and specialise) in family law, estate administration, conveyancing and property law. By focusing on only a few areas of law, we can stay up to date with the latest cases and industry changes, ensuring you always receive accurate, timely advice.
Sherri is passionate about the law and has an eye for detail when handling complex matters. Sherri is a Solicitor within the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Sherri can assist her clients with divorce and separation, child custody and parenting, high-value property matters and superannuation splitting.
To assist us in advising you, we ask that you write a detailed history of the marriage/relationship covering the following aspects:. The financial contribution you made directly or indirectly to the acquisition, conservation or improvement of any of the property of the parties, regardless of whether you still hold the assets.
The law relating to matrimonial and de facto relationship disputes is especially complex and ever changing. To obtain a fair outcome and accurate representation in such disputes, insight from the best family and property lawyers is needed. Even seemingly straightforward family, estate or property disputes require dedicated, highly qualified professionals.
I would like to thank you for your professional work and support during and prior to the mediation. I am very satisfied with the result and thank you again for your work and understanding.

It's never easy navigating through family law issues but I've been lucky enough to have Emma and her lovely team to assist me through some extremely rough spots. Emma has supplied excellent legal advice that ensured the best outcomes possible whilst providing me with much needed and appreciated support. Her professional advice has been invaluable and has ensured that the best interests of myself and my family have been taken care of, even when I've been in other parts of the world.
