Decent cutting skills, no doubt. However, I was rather disappointed when I was asked to pay more than quoted. Granted, only 2 dollars more, but it's not right. When I asked the lady behind the counter about the difference, things only got worse. With every breath she seemed to change tac and reasons ranged from "you did not see the same person last time" to "oh, well, we're a sustainability salon so that comes at a price...." It's a real shame to alienate customers like that when everything else was just fine.

I received a $500 gift voucher. Thought I’d get my hair done and a massage. The quote on line for my hair came to about $350, but cost over $500 on the day. Because they were on a rush to finish the day, my hair was blow dried into a 2000 bob which was not at all what was in the picture I showed the stylist. Way over priced for hair. Perhaps the spa experience would be better value but unfortunately the hair experience was not even vaguely close to $500 worth.

Came into Djurra Salon for my booked haircut.
Firstly approached by a young staff member who than just walked… away.
Waited for a further 15 minutes only to be told they did NOT have my appointment as it was NOT in the system.
Offered an appointment 4 hours later which was NOT convineant.Purchased an expensive parking ticket for this 4 hour slot.
Have an important meeting tomorrow & now left "without" a haircut hence the review.
No apology, No remorse nothing. At least if they were apologetic, I would NOT be leaving this review.

I left the salon today feeling special, cared for and very happy... so much that I felt I really needed to write a long overdue review and say thank you to Gary (Paul?) for the beautiful colour and Josh for the fabulous cut!!
I’ve been coming to Djurra since I moved to the Freo area 7 years ago... I hunted them down being a massive fan of Aveda products and the company philosophy. In fact, I’ve only had my hair done at Aveda salons since discovering them whilst in Broome back in 2005... even whilst on holidays in Europe!

Quite easily the best salon experience I've ever had. I recently moved and needed a new salon and Djurra is outstanding. Every single staff member was friendly, kind, went the extra mile and were professional. My cut was exactly what I had hoped for. I was listened to carefully (my hair is fine and has been over heated in the past)The products are amazing, the salon environment is exceptional and it's a sustainable salon! Why would you go anywhere else! An absolute treat and pleasure I can't wait to go back! Thank you all for making it a wonderful experience.

Completely happy with my hair colour and cut today! Felt relaxed and comfortable that my hair was being looked after, Emmy did an awesome job and is a great stylist! She actually chose the colour my hair was going to be today (because I couldn’t decide)and it turned out perfectly for my skin tone and what I was after.. Will definitely recommend to others and be back myself, stoked! One of my friends is actually booking with djurra after seeing the before and after of my hair!

My Partner Emma Davison came into the salon on Saturday afternoon and was spoilt. Her hair came out beautifully and they did her make up, while she was there, because she was going out for dinner. Finally some standards. 5 stars. Best haircut I've had in a long time. One of the new male "directors" (I'm sorry I can't remember his name) took such great care of my hair and I can tell he really thought about it. Was also friendly but not too overbearing either, which I like. The man at the counter is also always very polite, friendly and welcoming. I'll be back for my next hair cut. Djurra seems to have a great team plus it's a beautiful salon.
