At Poulton Respondek Clinical Psychology we work with children and parents during the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of emotional, social and behavioural problems. Our strengths-based approach aims to assist children to increase their problem-solving capacities and self-confidence.

The complex developmental challenges of adolescence presents a variety of educational, social, emotional and behavioural challenges. Early assessment and intervention may assist adolescents to navigate through these challenges successfully. Our psychologists aim to enhance the mental health and wellbeing of adolescents.
Services
Colleen is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working with adults, children and adolescents. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology 1st Class Honours) and a Masters in Clinical Psychology and Clinical Endorsement with the Australian Psychological Society.

Working from a client-centred, strengths-based framework, Colleen offers an individual and collaborative approach to assist clients to address anxiety, depression, grief and loss, complex trauma, relationships, substance use, body image, self-esteem, social skills, emotion regulation, adjustment to life changes, and behaviour change.Colleen offers tailored therapy, utilising the most effective therapeutic models.
Full payment at the time of your consultation is required and can be made by cash, credit card or EFTPOS. We can (usually) process your Medicare claim at the time of appointment. You cannot use your private health insurance ancillary cover to top-up the Medicare rebates for these services. You need to decide if you will use Medicare or your private health insurance ancillary cover to pay for psychological services you receive.

Assessments are highly informative when meticulously planned for each individual, and when they involve the client, parents and other professional who may be working with the client.They can range from short consultations to detailed comprehensive assessments involving several hours of face-to-face testing.
At Poulton Respondek Clinical Psychology we walk through the assessment results with you to ensure you have a detailed understanding of the findings, interpretations and recommendations. In addition, we have provided the information below to further assist you in reading the results of a cognitive assessment report.
