Services
Eric Craney established Craney Family Solicitors in Lambton in 2005, and we have continued to serve the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and Maitland areas, as well the the surrounding Hunter and Central Coast since this time. In 2014, Eric Craney became the Principal Solicitor at Doyle Kingston & Swift in Broken Hill and limited his work with our firm.
We strongly believe everyone should have the opportunity to obtain legal assistance regardless of their financial position. It is this guiding principle which has led Craney Family Solicitors to be members of the Legal Aid Family Law Panel since our firm was established in 2005. It is possible to apply for legal aid for parenting and property matters, regardless of whether the other party already has a grant of legal aid.
Depending on the case, we offer an hourly rate or a flat rate. We keep detailed logs of the time we spend on your matter. We count in six minute increments and only work for as long as a case requires, so you'll never be overbilled for unproductive time. If you are not eligible for legal aid we typically require funds to be placed in trust prior to commencing work, however we are happy to discuss other payments options.
