The Family Court of Australia is a federal court set up in 1975 by the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth.). The court was founded in order to deal with matrimonial matters which under Section 51 and 52 of Australia's constitution the Commonwealth has the power to deal with. Along with the Federal Circuit Court, the Family Court deals with divorce, property, maintenance and court orders relating to the care of children.

I have dealt with Portelli & Co with Guy Messina nearly 28 years ago and still to this day this many holds a spot dear to me.
