Learning to drive for the first time can be stressful for students and their parents or partners in fact, everyone! Students are typically on a big learning curve while their supervisors typically, parents or partners are often under equipped to teach driving - often because it was such a long time ago since they were learner drivers themselves.

Or perhaps you have an overseas drivers licence that you need to transition across to Queensland? We can assist with all of the above, getting you well prepared for your practical driving test.

So you will not only need to get to the Test Centre but have the use of a car for your practical driving test? We can assist on the day - by picking you up for a little practice or refresher along the way before you arrive at the Test Centre and letting you loose with the examiner in your instructor's car.

I would recommend Mike to anyone looking for a driving instructor, without any hesitation. He is so passionate about his job and is an excellent teacher with a positive and friendly manner. We tried two other unsuitable instructors before we found Mike, so we knew he was good! Our son passed his test on his first attempt and really enjoyed his lessons. Mike was skilled at making lessons entertaining and engaging.

Mike was recommended to us via a friend as we were not satisfied with the instruction our daughter was receiving. Mike was outstanding. My daughter grew in confidence and skill immediately and she enjoyed the lessons she had. Mike was clear and realistic about her readiness to test, and never gave the impression he was milking lessons from us, but rather gave a clear appraisal of level and actually encouraged us to test earlier than we expected. Mike is a very patient instructor who explains road rules and driving manoeuvres very well. He ensures that you get the most out of each lesson so you have the opportunity to practice all the required driving manoeuvres each time. I was able to pass my manual driving test on the first try without having to take too many lessons.

Mike at LPasso Driving school is fantastic! I would highly recommend him as I passed my P's first time around. He is insistent on being a safe driver and provided me with the skills and confidence to become just that. Mike is honest, friendly and adjusts his teaching style to suit the learner. He is without a doubt the best driving instructor in Brisbane. I highly recommend him.

Mike is the best driving instructor. I have learnt so much and have gained a lot of confidence through his lessons. He is a very calm, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and patient instructor. He gives so much encouragement and genuinely cares about the success of his students. I have had numerous instructors in the past and no one is better than Mike from LPASSO, I highly recommend him.

L PASSO are a fantastic driving school. Mike and Jonathan are both great instructors and great to talk to. I was quite nervous about learning to drive, but Mike quickly turned me into a confident, safe driver. Within a few weeks of lessons I was able to pass my test first attempt. I highly recommend L PASSO Driving Scool to any learner driver who is seeking lessons.

Mike is an absolutely wonderful and truly professional driving instructor. I was nervous to start lessons but from the get go he made me feel so comfortable. He tailors every lesson to the individual student and if I wasn’t understanding something he would explain it in a different way so it made sense. He is so patient and kind and has a wicked sense of humour. The most important thing is Mike is truly teaching you how to drive safely, not just being able to pass a test. Thanks Mike for giving me all the tools I needed to pass first go! I would gladly recommend him to anyone!

We highly recommend "L Passo Driving School" because Mike has been very professional, punctual and teaches safe driving techniques. Mike has been an amazingly kind and wonderful instructor, I was recommended by a friend and am a very nervous sort of driver from overseas. He has been very attentive to the bad habits and mistakes that I picked up along the years and adjusted to my learning method which was a very visual learner. We chose LPasso driving school for our son based on the great google reviews, and now couldn't be happier to submit our own great review.
Mike was our instructor and immediately came across as a warm and friendly person. He was always prompt to lessons and kept us (as parents) in the loop as to exactly what they did and what areas we could focus more on. After a number of lessons and completing the 100 hours, Mike booked a test for a Saturday afternoon and were thrilled when our son passed.
A heart felt "thank you" Mike for making our son a better driver, we appreciate your relaxed and stress

How on earth are you meant to be teaching people when you are speeding and tailgaiting other cars on the road up on the north side? Not a smart thing to do when you have your business name proudly mounted on… the side of your car. Was a white car btw, sunday morning up through Windsor. You guys must be teaching the idiots on the road :)
