Watching a mother kangaroo or wallaby feeding while its joey fumbles around in her pouch is a special experience. When wild animals seem this placid and caring, it can be tempting to get close to them, touch them and even feed them. With regular feeding, a kangaroo or wallaby learns to approach people for food.
From the moment you pass through its imposing iron gates, Arundel Hills Country Club is never less than impressive. Manicured fairways roll away through leafy avenues of tall natives trees as you sweep past flower gardens along the wide boulevard and up to the majestic colonial-style Clubhouse. There is a certain amount of mystery and intrigue surrounding Fred Bolton- designed members course.

OMG!!!! Where do I start from the rude obnoxious staff to the complete and blatant disregard for the clubhouse and fairways and greens. Played here a while ago and it was great. WHAT HAPPENED!!! Driving up to the bag drop with the dead trees and overgrown gardens....oops sorry weeds. Was greeted by a rude and unresponsive staff member at the pro shop who didn't even offer a score card let alone a pencil (didn't have any pencils). Put our clubs on a buggy which still had lunch and drinks from the previous people who used it. Obviously not very Covid conscious!!! I don't think the fairways had been

**Review is for the golf course and pro shop**
Currently under renovations, which it definitely did need, and still has some very dry spots, but this course is one of the more interesting around with plenty of elevation and a range of green speeds.
Played the back nine today, as you can see from the photos, there are heaps of kangaroos around, some areas are green and others are dry and brown, but in a lot of ways this creates an interesting game.
Lots of hidden bunkers and nice water hazards make it challenging enough, and is a surprisingly pleasant place to play despite being surrounded by

Its a good difficult course. Its unfortunate that the course is not maintained good enough anymore from lack of management. I see they are struggling for money and it shows on the maintenance. They should of got rid of that ugly building/clubhouse 4 years ago, and built something useful instead of spending 400k on re turfing all the greens to make them faster so the course is harder, when its already hard enough and the greens were good pre 2015. If they have any money left they should just put it towards maintenance of the course.
