At Gowland Legal we are proud of where we work and we are committed to supporting our local community, both in Dulwich Hill and the greater Inner West area. We are the major sponsor of the Inner West Mums community group, and we work closely with the Feminist Legal Service and Leichhardt Women's Community Health Centre.
We have an in depth understanding of women's issues. We recognise the difficulties faced by women and children who have experienced domestic violence. We have developed our experience and expertise in this area through our years of work with domestic violence survivors. We are passionate about Law Reform that will better protect the women and children who experience domestic violence.
I am a passionate advocate for social justice, law reform and the end of domestic violence, particularly for women and children victims. I've spent the past three decades channelling those passions into my work as a Family Law practitioner. Let me put my comprehensive Family Law knowledge and my Masters of Applied law (Family Law) to use for you in your Family Law matter.
I graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney with a double degree in law and journalism. While I found both of my degrees to be fascinating, I decided to pursue a career in law - not because of Legally Blonde, although I was always envious of Elle's fabulous blowouts - but because I was constantly amazed by the power that the law has on people's lives.
I want to thank Gowland Legal for your exceptional effort in my daughter's case. The outcome for her and the children has given them the best chance to move forward in their future. I found Lyndal Gowland to be Unrelaible and unprofessional. I Engaged her for conveyancing, she tried to claim fees that were outside the fee agreement, and then when i eventually purchased a property she refused to assist with the transaction , claiming that i had not retained her services. My opinion is that Lyndal Gowland is a beligerent and rude person. My advice is do not engage Lyndal Gowland for any matter of importance. I agree with other reviews which state that Lyndal Gowland is a competent JP for signing documents.

Lyndal Gowland and her team at Gowland Legal Dulwich Hill besides being highly knowledgeable and professional they are very caring and kind which helps in rather trying times. I attended Gowland Legal for preparation of a will. I thought it was fairly simple, but 'you don't know what you don't know', and I was so impressed by the guidance I received. Lyndal is a great listener, can explain things in simple language, was very accommodating with my limited availability and pressurised time frame, and very generous with her time. Her support staff, like her, have that gift of making you feel you are the only person that matters. I felt in very good and capable hands.
