Went in today to have a watch band and battery replaced. The gentleman there is a fantastic, friendly character, dry humour but very pleasant and chatty. He was serving another customer before me, was very knowledgeable and offering great advice. I went on the recommendation of another friend who went there, and will be returning again with any other jobs I require. A wonderful Melbourne character, thank you for your service!

Here's my $20 lesson: If you see so many poor reviews, why do you think your experience is going to be any different?
Went in around lunchtime to replace the battery of my The Citizen quartz.
Me: "how much does it cost to replace the battery?"
Owner: "$20, see you in half an hour"
30 minutes later...
Owner: "watch is still not ready, by the way, how much did you pay for it?"
After learning the price, the owner "jokingly" said he should've jacked up the price of the battery replacement.
Another 15 minutes later, owner brought the watch out and murmured "how much should I charge for this repair

Went to have my watch battery replaced ($20). Was instructed to return for it in 30 minutes. When I came back he hadn't even started on my watch so I had to wait another 5 minutes while he hastily replaced the battery. Not only was the time not adjusted on the returned watch, but the alignment of the chronograph hand was off too! For $20 I expect the job to be done fast or with care. This was neither. Next time I'll take my watch somewhere else.

I got my tudor serviced. Upon return the watch would only hold it's charge for less than 24 hrs. I returned the watch and they fixed it and told me it was something they'd done wrong. Then the crown fell off. What a nightmare from there, i refused to take the watch back to them even if they would be willing to fix it. After nearly a year trying to find a watchmaker and parts I finally have the watch in great working order. The watchmaker told me the movement was all loose inside and no way I should've lost the crown. The stem had fallen out and parts were loose. The movement had been fully rebuilt

Thank you for fixing my Seiko divers watch,it had sat in my drawer for years. I am very happy to be wearing it on my wrist where it belongs, beg my pardon for my kids playing up in your jewelry shop, as you said its the smart kids that get bored easily. I've had my Seiko Sea Urchin modded by them with a perfect result. Crystal & bezel insert were changed. I noticed before modding that the chapter ring was slightly out of alignment from the factory (JDM model), so I also asked if this could be fixed while the watch was open and it was.
This was all done via the post & great communication on the phone as well as I live in rural Victoria.
