Mel holds a Master of Taxation degree (UNSW), and Bachelor of Commerce degree (USQ). She also holds a Diploma of Financial Services (FINSIA). Mel has a diverse client base of small to medium businesses, family businesses, self-funded retirees, and high net worth individuals.

We've developed The 6-Step Service Plan to provide the support that each business owner needs from their accountant to help them make better business decisions. I'm Mel Wear, principal and founder of Wear Accountants. I've spent the last 25 years as an accountant in public practice supporting business owners, and I know how hard businesses are to run.
We've invested the time to understand what our clients are looking for when working with their accountant and have developed Wear Accountants around three key areas. You will be one of only a limited group of equally important business clients and will always receive prompt, personal service. We're not looking to build a big practice but instead work closely with a small group of motivated business owners.

I started a new company at the end of 2020. Mel, Tracey & Matt were fantastic and directly help get me going. The training for xero was great and they always helped. Anytime I speak to any of the staff at wear accountants, I always get the answers and help needed and I know that my accounting needs are being looked after 100%
