MBS was founded in 2006 as a Life Insurance advisory practice supporting accounting firms, some of which had extended their offering to include wealth management. Maintaining a specialist focus, and recognising the value of expertise, MBS Insurance steadily grew over the next decade to proudly call more than 100 financial services firms our referring partners.
MBS Insurance and our advisers operate as Authorised Representatives of the Australian Financial Services Licence of Bombora Advice Pty Ltd AFSL 439065. The Bombora AFSL has been established as a specialist and dedicated Life Insurance Licensee. The group includes many professionals who are committed to ongoing professional development and constant improvement.
MBS Insurance is not aligned with any insurance provider. Our purpose and obligations are to act on behalf of the client. Following the establishment of the client's needs and objectives, we comprehensively review the market to find the best solution. This includes examining the policy wording and market pricing, along with tailoring a portfolio specific to the needs of each individual client.
Our philosophy around advice is the recommendation, establishment and management of a portfolio that remains appropriate and necessary to protect the needs of our clients, and their families. This advice is reviewed both on a regular basis, and in line with life-changing events that occur which impact a client's needs, objectives or circumstances.
Today we manage the clients of Accountants, Lawyers, Financial Planners, General Insurance Brokers and Stock Broking groups. More than 100 Financial Services firms in total. Partner firms work with MBS Insurance due to our specialised knowledge, expertise, core values and the shared intent to create a long-term client proposition.
