Being nestled amongst majestic old gums, over acres of bushland and beautiful scenic and unique photo locations, Minden Retreat really does offer you a Wedding Venue destination that is something memorable and that has it all! There's a quaint little Chapel that dates over 100 years old that can seat over 80 guests on the grounds as well as our impressive Function Hall which can set the scene and tone for the rest of your day or evening.
Minden Retreat offers you an all in one 'wedding day solution'. Beginning with its 100-year-old chapel, nestled amongst majestic gums, it can seat up to 84 guests and can set the tone for the most memorable day in your life. With a sweeping entrance leading to the chapel on the hill, it allows you to make your grand entrance with grace and style with a backdrop of rustic charm and character abound.

Relaxing retreat where we were able to experience our event to the fullest by being able to have choice in type of accommodation from camping through to motel. Cooking could be done on a contained wood fire, camp stove or in the comforts of a shared kitchen with the appliances ready waiting and a big walk in cold room

Mack the caretaker needs to clean the place up instead of thinking he is important,every room is old and out dated but comfortable the so called industrial kitchen is very very dirty range hoods covered in thick greasy dust no oven trays so we couldn’t use the oven,no cutlery no plates or cups,the walk in fridge is a disgrace dirt everywhere
Septic toilets stink so rank don’t even use them you are better off going in the Bush,rotten wood on verandas,decking and stairs everywhere
No real facilities for children, a pool that’s half empty with no chemicals to clean it

Went there for a wedding, it’s a lovely quiet place in the country, we did have a couple of issues with the tank water but the caretaker was able to fix the problem for us, definitely a nice place to hold events 😃👍🏻
HOWEVER... I do feel that there are big things that they can improve on! 1. They advertise hotel style rooms, so they should provide… hotel style service! I was there for 3 days and had to use the same towel and face washer as NO fresh ones were provided ☹️☹️ 2. Only 4 of the 9 hotel style rooms have air conditioners, the
