I have been a photographer for almost 20 years, with 12 of those in business for myself, winning multiple times in International Photography awards. My goal is to connect with my clients. I am genuine and real and have life experiences too, which is why I put my all into each session and every client, capturing raw, real moments.
Capturing these precious memories is so important. Having the opportunity to to be able to look back in years to come, even to show our littles as they grown to be not so littles, just how small they were. Before they arrive earthside is best! We need to have a general idea of when you're due, because there is such a small window for newborn portraits (first 2 weeks is best!).
So you're on this beautiful journey called motherhood. Congratulations! How very special that you are blessed this way. Even though at times, pregnancy may not seem like a magical experience, and sometimes you will feel absolutely bleh. We all have our ups and downs during pregnancy. Hormones and weight gain although lets face it.
Families change so fast. It seems in the blink of an eye, they've grown and moved on to have families of their own. We tend to wait until it's too late to think about investing in capturing our families. As they are. As they grow. I see it all too often. So much regret, that our kids have grown up and we have no photographs with them.
Often times I get asked what is best to wear for your session. This is a very broad subject to address, because really, it depends on your preferences and overall style. Obviously, we want you to be YOU in your photo session. Dressing like someone else is pointless. Generally, a good rule is too avoid too many patterns.
