Peaceful Landscapes was set up in 2001 by Dave Limburg, the company boasts over 10 years of landscape design and landscape construction experience across Sydney. We are based on Sydney's Northern Beaches and also service parts of the Inner West, North Shore and the Eastern Suburbs. Peaceful Landscapes garden designs are aimed at the clients needs first and foremost.
We ensure that practicality is at the forefront of all designs. We then fuse the practical needs of the client, the architecture of the house, the surrounding environment and the clients wants and needs to create a totally unique garden design with our original and distinctive design touch. Once a landscape design is finalised between designer and client, we continue to the construction stage.

At this point we will gather your location, a rough outline of your landscaping requirements and a budget, we will then arrange an onsite consultation and quote.The initial consultation involves approximately 60 minutes on site with the client. The clients wants, needs, budget and preferences will be discussed along with our design options and suitable landscape materials and plants.

We draw our landscape design inspiration from a variety of sources. Japanese aesthetics are heavily used (without necessarily looking like a Japanese Garden). Nature and natural forms also heavily influence our garden design, along with sculptural forms, Balinese plantings and natural waterways. Below is a list of some of our favourite inspirational sites.

We got Dave to help design and build a Japanese garden for our new house, which took a fair bit of trust and courage as it was all done in the midst of a lockdown, but everything turned out to be perfect. Dave was always responsive leading up to to job and was flexible in his approach which we appreciated. He not only did an amazing job putting everything together but even did us a chore as he left. Would strongly recommend anyone looking for a new garden to consider Dave and team!

We had a great experience with Dave and Ross from Peaceful Landscapes creating our beautiful front garden. They were upfront and honest, punctual in the morning, friendly and creative, tidy, and wonderful with the kids and dog. But most importantly is the outcome of our lovely front garden that all our neighbours love as much as we do. I couldn't recommend Peaceful Landscapes enough.

We recently used Peaceful Landscapes to landscape our house in Freshwater on Sydney's northern beaches.
They did a fantastic job. The landscape design was creative and perfectly suited the tropical garden look we were after.
Their landscapers were fast, efficient & friendly.
