I shoot on both 35mm film and digital camera's and video entirely on Super 8mm film. The colours that real film creates are so incredibly unique and beautiful! I am in awe of the beauty in the imperfect and unpolished moments, and being able to remember how it all felt. I am all for the dreamy couples who don't want typical, 'proper' wedding photos. My photography is whimsical, nostalgic, colourful, happy, and natural - I love to create photos that tell the story of how you actually FELT. It's always the unposed shots (the giggling and crying between hugs; the warm looks between friends and lovers) that I aim to capture.
Whether your wedding is big or small, or you simply want to elope - there is a package for you! You may opt for just photography, just videography - or both! I am currently based in Shellharbour, in the Illawarra region south of Sydney. I love to travel anywhere across Australia (& beyond!) to capture your day, so don't be afraid to reach out if your wedding isn't local. Send through an enquiry to see if I am available on your wedding date. Once we've had a chat and picked out the perfect package you will be able to pay your 25% deposit to lock in the date!

Kara is INCREDIBLE. From the first time we spoke I just felt so at ease, she has such a great calming energy which is what every stressed bride needs in their life.
On the day, she was amazing. Above and beyond. She was like a ninja, she got so many shots from so many angles, we still don’t know how she did it. She genuinely enjoys her work and just had the best happiest vibe which made our day even better.

Kara captured our wedding in 2017 and I am still in awe of the incredible images we are left with. We had a combination of posed and candid images and each were just as perfect as the other. Every year on our anniversary we sit down and look at our photos and each time we notice something different. Kara has given us the most magical gift. We can relive one of the best days of our lives over and over again. We can’t thank you enough xx

Kara's film photos have the most magical quality, so we asked her to shoot our entire wedding on film. No easy feat, but WOW she exceeded all our expectations!!! The photos are so incredibly beautiful and capture the vibe of our day beyond perfectly. She was an absolute delight to work with from start to finish and brought such a positive chill energy. Kara did an incredible job for my partner and I. We met prior and planned out the whole thing too, as I wanted to surprise my partner.
