As newly arrived locals we went into Shuck on Tedder for a drink at one of their two bars. We were rudely told we weren’t welcome - specifically I was told ‘we are having none of it’. We don’t want people coming to our bars and are closing them now.
Would I dine there? Not likely. Go if you don’t mind rude and poor service

A pretty average experience. Constantly asking waiters to refill wine and water glasses. I had the Kingfish Cerviche which was killed by too much sauce. The Snapper filet on risotto was certainly a lot better. Expected better service particularly as we spent over $880 for our group . Certainly a disappointing experience.

A very underwhelming experience. The food is pretty average at best. The menu is limited, the famed crab lasagne was nothing special, the steak was overcooked, the desserts were either sickly sweet or lacked flavour and depth.
The person who seemed to be the owner has probably started the restaurant during school holidays when she was a high school teacher. They seemed to think that hiking up the prices would give the restaurant a higher status.
I didn't get anything special about the atmosphere that some reviewers were revving about.
The service was otherwise generally good, but the whole experience

First time at this restaurant. The service was great. The crab lasagne was very tasty but needed a side to counter the rich, and the bug spaghetti was good although needed more olive oil and salt. Overall satisfactory but way too pricey for what it is, plus chairs were uncomfortable so won't be back.
