Dentistry has always been Dr Vikash Makan's greatest passion. Having finished his dental qualifications in Fiji, Dr Vikash worked for four years before making his big move to Melbourne in 2009, bringing with him his genuine Fijian hospitality and smile. Since 2009, he has practised in the northern suburbs and predominantly in the south eastern suburbs of Glen Waverley, Wheelers Hill, Forest Hill, Mount Waverley and Croydon.
The idea of being able to use the creativity of his hands coupled with the opportunity to help people is what drove Dr Ian Gould to pursue a career in dentistry. Having obtained his qualifications at the University of Melbourne, he continued to practice in Melbourne, providing patients with quality dental care while fulfilling his passion to help people.
Dr Emily Pow obtained her qualifications in dentistry at the La Trobe University in Bendigo. Her passion for dentistry blossomed from her own personal experience of having braces and how it made her feel after they were removed. She realised how much a person's confidence and self esteem can be affected as a result of their teeth, and how a good smile can improve both.
Intraoral Bite-wing Radiographs: Dental X-Rays play an important role in providing quality dental treatments. X-Rays give dentists insight into the structure of teeth as well as showing them the layout of teeth within the jaw, this facilitates our dentists in providing the best possible care. At The Fine Tooth Company we offer a dental x-ray known as the intraoral bite-wing radiograph.

I have just had two teeth out and it was fun! Emily Pow is great- explains what is happening so well- makes the experience a happy one-even tooth extraction! I highly recommend this clinic- and their friendly helpful assistant, whose name is also Emily. Having lived in Hong Kong for 20 years I am a fairly new patient here. But am very happy to be looked after by this practice.

If u want a caring professional and friendly dentist u in good hands with dr emily pow i have a fear of dentists and she put me totally at ease also from the time u walk thru front door and are greeted by sarah who is so lovely and helpful as is all the staff at fine tooth well done to management fot picking tne right people to represent youre business ive already recommended members of the family and they have been very happy !
