Bluewater Dental has been operating on the Central Coast for more than 30years. Our practice at Tuggerah provides innovative treatment options for our patients, including early intervention orthodontics. Approximately 90 percent of the population will experience gum disease, and it is the most common cause of tooth loss in the western world. Your hygiene appointment is designed to evaluate your oral health, any existing gum disease is treated, and then most importantly, measures are put in place to prevent any further deterioration and maintain your oral health.

The CDBS provides individual benefits for a range of services including examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions. Benefits are not available for orthodontic or cosmetic dental work and cannot be paid for any services provided in a hospital. Children commencing a new cap period in 2017 will have access to a benefit cap of up to $1000 over a two calendar year period.

Crowns and bridges restore damaged and missing teeth. This will improve appearance, prevent stresses causing damage to other teeth and will maintain the natural bite to improve chewing. They are usually made of porcelain to match the natural shape and color of your teeth. Preparation of a crown or bridge involves thorough planning by our dental team using x-rays to check the health of the tooth.

At Bluewater Dental our team works with you to achieve improved function and aesthetics. We design partial dentures in acrylic and also cast chrome which offers a stronger and less invasive option for those who are missing several teeth.
