I'm Sarah, owner and lead photographer at Frankly Photography. Together with my partner Matt (second shooter, booth extraordinaire and general people wrangler) we run Frankly Photography and our awesome booth- the Frankly Booth. Based in Brisbane, we're always up for travel and love a good adventure!
My style is unobtrusive, relaxed and journalistic. I will certainly offer direction when it's needed but for the most part I'd love for you to try to forget I'm there and celebrate with your family and friends! I'm pretty sentimental, and capturing moments that become memories is not a job I take lightly.
I like to think of these sessions as capturing a 'day in the life' of your family. A little snippet in time that you can look back on fondly in years to come. Whether that be welcoming a new human into the world, gathering the extended family, or just hanging out in the backyard playing. I love being invited back, year after year to capture the same family and document the changes and milestones in their lives.

Sarah has been extremely patient and understanding while trying to plan a wedding during COVID times. When you meet her in person she makes you feel comfortable and relaxed which really helped us behind the camera. We loved having Sarah take our photos and can’t wait for her to share and capture our other life milestones. Thank you for taking such beautiful photos that we will cherish forever.

If you need a photographer, look no further!!! Sarah is not only incredibly talented with an eye for “the shot”, she’s also warm and calming and will put you at ease straight away. Sarah is amazing! I cannot see myself ever using another Photographer for special events or family photos (unless she gets sick of me). Sarah and Matt literally stood in the middle of the road and stopped traffic to get the shot we wanted. Who else can say their photographer risked their life for them!?!

Sarah and the team at Frankly were one of the best vendors we had for our wedding! Not only did all the guests rave about how great the photo booth was (and we definitely agree), the communication prior to the day and the turnaround time to seeing the entire gallery from the night was so fast - and the photos are so high quality! Sarah has worked with me for several occasions and she and her staff havealways been friendly, professional and most importantly have had great photos to show for it! We have had tge Frankly booth for my son's 21st and everyone loved it and having the digital copies as well later was fantastic! We had an extended family shoot for my parents'… special birthdays and Matt shot that for us! We had discussed shoot backgrounds with Sarah and loved where we had the photos. Sarah did an incredible job of capturing our wedding day. We postponed our wedding 12 months due to Covid and nothing was a hassle. Sarah stayed jn touch and always responded quickly. I love that Sarah took the time to find out what was important to us, what photos did we want. Our images are so beautiful- capturing us in our gowns and slippers… in the morning right through to the action shots on the dance floor. We felt comfortable and at ease to be ourselves and the pictures show this. My favourites images are the sunset bridal party shots - Sarah captured the afternoon glow perfectly

Sarah was the photographer at my wedding. I was very nervous and she made me feel at ease. She is super friendly and understands how stressful weddings can be. The photographs she took are absolutely amazing. Sarah met me before the wedding (with no extra charge) to discuss what kind of photos we were looking for. Meeting her before the big day really helped my husband and I feel at ease in front of the camera. I highly recommend using Frankly Photography - you will not be disappointed!

We used the Frankly Booth (photobooth) for our wedding and every single one of our guests loved it! Sarah was completely professional and easy to work with all the way from organising the booth and backdrop all the way through to manning the booth on the night and organising our photos afterwards. Sarah and her partner are amazing. We decided to bring our wedding date forward due to Covid, and needed a photographer quickly! Sarah got 10 days notice, met us and viewed the venue 1 week before the wedding and did an absolutely brilliant job on the day. She made us feel relaxed and we had a fun time with the photo shoot, which neither of us thought was possible. Guests, celebrant and parents raved about her. She really helped make our day easy. Highly recommend!

Sarah photographed our wedding and we couldn't be happier with how the day went and how the photos came out. There are so many amazing images and she was so relaxed and easy to work with. Both my partner and I were super worried about looking awkward but it was the complete opposite! Would recommend Sarah and Frankly Photography in a heartbeat.
