Mundaring Weir Hotel
We are a turn of the century establishment, originally built for the workers and visitors to the nearby Mundaring Weir. Less than 1 hour from the heart of Perth, the Hotel provides the perfect venue for a social outing. Dine in the downstairs coffee shop (weekends), the historic Duke and Duchess dining room, or in the Tree-Tops restaurant overlooking the amphitheater where regular summer concerts boast music from jazz to popular rock bands.

The grounds provide the perfect chilled atmosphere, and there is something to do for kids of all ages. Explore history, and browse the artifacts collected over the 35 years that the Hotel has been in the hands of the current owner, Jens Jorgensen. The Hotel offers many opportunities to experience the regions natural beauty.
Services
The hotel features 10 motel-style rooms that are tucked away amongst the hotel gardens, overlooking either the forest or the grounds. All feature reverse cycle air conditioning, TV/DVD, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, bar fridge, iron and ironing board, as well as cutlery, crockery and glasses. Laundry facilities are available if you're staying a while.
Sundays, with our spit roast and live music, are the perfect time for a family day out. Parents can relax, safe in the knowledge the kids are happy and amused! We have a great childrens playground just to the rear of the stage, well within eyesight of the parents and it's shaded in the summer, sunny in the winter.
We can cater to all aspects of a personalised wedding - from the ceremony through to reception, with dancing in the original ballroom, to a room to retire to at the end of the evening. The Hotel gardens and federation design provide the perfect backdrop for your celebratory function. Choose a location within the venue to suit that special day.
Choose between an air conditioned indoor area, or the fully sheltered pergola area, where you can keep an eye on the kids in the playground. We have kids chairs, high chairs, colouring pages and crayons. Bring BALLOONS and CAKE and CELEBRATE. Strictly no BYO alcohol, soft drinks, beverages or food.
We can host your workshop, seminar, conference, team-building, or any other corporate occasion. Includes use of equipment as required. The room can be set up to your requirements: u-shape, boardroom, or theatre style for up to 60 people. Our conference room can be configured to suit your requirements; u-shape, boardroom, or theatre style for up to 60 people.

Great little pub on the outskirts of Perth.. Up in the hills.. A nice drive through the bush if you come from Mundaring or from Kalamunda.. I stopped in for a cider.. Plenty of parking for both cars as well as motorbikes.. Theres history all around here from the pub to the dam itself a short walk away.. Theres usually a band playing every Sunday too..

Great old character pub, interesting history and plenty of interesting spaces worth exploring. Great range and quality of food, and of course beverages.
Make sure you make your way down the stairs inside the hotel to see the many different levels and areas inside, then explore all the garden areas👍

Food is delicious and well priced. Atmosphere is so relaxed. We sat under the cool beer garden vines. Listening to The Bush Band. Amazing

For what it is - a BEAUTIFUL old Pub; a visit to yesteryear, this hotel is really worth a visit.
We spent a Saturday night and enjoyed 2 basic but tasty meals at a very reasonable price. The bonus was a wide array of seating choices for meals with views over trees and the court, lovely old, well maintained banquet rooms to wander, and an easy stroll through the gardens to the Mundaring Weir.
At the moment the only night the restaurant is open is Saturday but meals can be preordered to eat at your room if you are staying overnight. Also open Sunday and generally a band and grub from Sunday 1pm

Excellent service from some very lovely staff. Food portions were generous and delicious. Building is a little run down in places, but I think that adds to it’s shabby-chic charm.

Great place. We were a group of 10 celebrating a family birthday overnight and can’t speak highly enough of the venue and staff. A bit of a mixup with our booking but soon resolved and we found our rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had a table close to our rooms and the playground which was great for the kids. Our meals were great and the staff were all delightful and helpful and especially accommodating with the little ones. A beautiful old building with lots to intrigue as all. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel with music on weekends, beautiful surroundings. Only disappointment was the food. Each time we visited their pizzas were sold out which seems to be the best on the menu. Unfortunately not value for money as all other food was presented very well but not tasteful at all.

Building is a little old and run down but has a lot of character. Food was amazing at a good price. Beautiful setting with many different friendly birds amongst the trees.
