We attended the Christmas Lunch Buffet, and were frankly very disappointed. For the price paid (over $100), the prawns were discoloured and off, and the oysters had not been kept on ice. The large room next to the entryway was extremely warm, and most of our 20 person party was uncomfortable. After the quality of the buffet, I do not ever anticipate returning to the Tingalpa.

Christmas Day was very disappointing for my family this year.
It was the first time we decided to go out for Christmas lunch.
We chose your hotel to celebrate with our family and we were very let down by this experience.
The menu sounded so good but it didn't deliver.
The prawns were frozen, some of the foods were cold, the roast veg had a nice flavour but were only half cooked. The buffet was not refilled quick enough for the number of people. The line ups for the buffet were expected but they were quite long.
When you have a buffet, many plates get used.

Such a let down on our main meals when we went for our first visit last night, my steak was over done and both my partner and my meals were cold when they arrived, which were advised was going to be an hour wait, we ate them because we were hungry we left a lot of our sides though. Disappointing when our entree was amazing hot and tasty. I have feedback was offered a refund I said wasn’t necessary as we were advised was a wait but I opted for a gift card to give them another chance in the future. Because it was very busy.

Visited here for the first time ever this evening - had a few drinks and the steak sandwich with chips (pictured). One of the best steak sandwiches I've ever had! Highly recommended. The staff were friendly and the food took less than 15 minutes to come out, which was fantastic. Only downside is that the person who seated us didn't explain the ordering process (you have you order for at a special counter, and order drinks at the bar), and when the meals came out, there was no cutlery or napkins supplied - we had to go looking for these. Not that you generally need cutlery for a steak sandwich,
