Just wanted to let you know I came home to a cleaned roof - which is great. What I was most impressed about was the cleaning up by the person who did it. He really made your company look good by the extra effort he went to. I met him this morning as he was beginning the next stage of the restoration - very personable and easy to ask questions.
Replace broken, silicone and foreign tiles with matching profiles (Colour not guaranteed). Clean out and relip valley irons (these may need to be treated or replaced depending on rust levels). Spray a coating of Dulux Acratex Roof Sealer or Primer to the substrate as per Australian Standards and Manufacturer's recommendations (this may not be required on clay tiles).
Asbestos encapsulation refers to the treatment and stabilisation process of asbestos roofs with sealants. These High Build coatings surround the asbestos fibres. Asbestos materials which have been encapsulated do not present a health risk. Encapsulate roof using Dulux Acratex Acrasatin Ultra (High Build) in colour of your choice.

Selected Grant and his team as they were locals. As expected the process was noisy and very messy. However, the team cleaned up 23 years of accumulated moss, fungi and everything else that was living on the roof. Also replaced the roof valleys which had aged. Appreciate

A very big thank you to Grant and all the team at Platinum. Eye to detail, from the initial pressure cleaning of the roof, replacement of broken tiles and repointing of the ridge capping, through to the recoating of the roof. We went with Dulux Monument Grey and we are very happy with the finished look. Grant even came back a few days later to inspect the roof and check that we were happy with the work. We have no hesitation in recommending Platinum Roof Coating.
