The Warrego Motel in Charleville Queensland is ideally located close to the railway station and bus depot. We are located only a very short walk from the town centre as well as Clubs, hotels and restaurants and a short drive from most tourist attractions. The motel accommodation has a combination of self contained cabins and motel units and offers great value Charleville accommodation that is clean and convenient.
Reception is located on Wills Street. If you are travelling into Charleville from Roma, turn right at the United Service station. Our cabins are very well appointed and all have kitchenettes which give our guests a limited cooking facility. There are varying set ups which include family units, disabled facility, spa unit as well as twin and queen rooms.

Take a stroll to explore the native gardens, Steiger Vortex Rainmaking Gun, windmill, watercourse and a children's playground. The park has electric BBQ's for visitors use and a large family of resident geese and ducks to feed. The Cosmos guides will introduce you to the amazing outback night skies viewed through the centres four telescopes.

The Warrego Motel is a great place to stay for a few nights, conveniently located and only a short walk from the town Centre. The rooms though, are mediocre. They come with a TV, Kettle, Toaster, Mini fridge and a Microwave. These appliances are quite old (With the TV being the only exception) but had no issues working.
Staff were very nice, especially Robbo.

We really enjoyed our stay. We took the train journey from Brisbane to Charleville and because the return train did not leave until the evening Rob gave us the use of the room until it was time to go. This was such a blessing for us. The motel is centrally located, the room was clean and very comfortable with an outdoor sitting area.

We stayed here for 3 weeks. Unfortunately, can't say it was comfortable. There were no real cooking facilities available, what they had was called a "hot plate". A complete waste of time.
The air-conditioning system spat out pellets of dirt the entire time. The daily cleaning was not up to par. The photos attached are taken after the daily cleaning. The linen had it's own peculiar whiff about it.
Still, the staff were pleasant and let us do our laundry for free. That was the best part of our stay. God bless them.

Stayed here for a couple of nights and arrived earlier than the listed check in time without notice, I was met with great hospitality, the staff here are so friendly and kind. Due to covid-19 my travel plans had changed and the manager Rob was able to work around the check out time and allow me to hang around a little longer so I didn't get stuck with nowhere to go. If you are passing through or planning on staying in charleville, don't look anywhere else as this motel is the place to stay. Will definitely be coming back for another holiday.

Stayed here at the beginning of our work trip & on the way back. The owner was warm, welcoming & genuinely concerned for myself & my colleague as we were late checking in on our return swing which was a nice feeling. If you want friendly, caring staff... this is the place! Clean & affordable. Will be a returning customer for life. Thank you!
