Roof restoration is a quintessentially Australian industry in which a roof is pressure cleaned, repaired and painted. After pressure cleaning and applying a mould treatment to the roof were appropraite, repairs are carried out, the nature of which depend on whether the roof is tile or metal.
Concrete and terracotta tile roof repairs primarily consist of changing broken tiles and rebedding and pointing, a process in which a flexible pointing mortar is applied with a pointing trowel to the ridge caps to secure and water proof them.Similarly, in the case of metal, ridges are repaired or replaced, rust is repaired, sheets and screws are replaced.

Roofs for restoration are thoroughly cleaned with a high volume pressure washer to ensure a clean, bare surface prior to sealing. Where appropriate we treat affected roofs with a mould remover and inhibitor either prior to cleaning or exclusively as a soft wash solution on roof surfaces that require a gentler approach than pressure cleaning.

The most professional trade in my entire home renovation. From quoting, attention to detail, communication, fixed price through to the amazing finish of my cement tile roof. I was told by 2 other businesses in the area, to replace the entire roof, but Tom reassuried me that with some restored roof capping, pointing, sealing and painting, it would last another 50 years and look like new. True to his word (even when some extra ridges not in the quote needed doing) he stuck to his price and the result was outstanding. Highly recommended.
